“At some point, you are going to want to give up. Consider this a reminder: Don’t you dare.” Karen Salmansohn I see you. I hear you. You are not alone. Maybe you haven’t noticed this yet, but I see you. I know what you have been going through. I was there, too. But, I made it and I know you will make it, as well. You will break the back of the beast and come out as a winner because you have it in you. Although it’s hidden deep inside, it is not gone. It’s merely misplaced. Probably, you aren’t aware of this yet, but you are and you will always be a fighter. You will realize this and you will save yourself from suffering. You will not surrender despite all the horrible things you have been through. I promise you that! Giving up is for the weak ones. Giving up is the easiest thing you can do—you just let yourself go in all the directions others want to take you. You don’t have to think of anything. While purposelessly wandering around, you won’t be sad. You won’t feel pain, not anymore. You are going to be indifferent because you gave up. You won’t care anymore. That is what happens to the ones who give up. But deep down, both you and I know you will succeed and everything will be coming up roses for you in the future. Because you deserve it. You just have to wait a little bit longer. Don’t be afraid to let your emotions out in the open. Don’t be afraid to show others you are nothing but a human, like the rest of us. You ache, you suffer and you are exposed. I know what you are going through and what you have already gone through. I see you. I hear you. You are not alone.I know it’s easy for me to say this, but—restore your faith in people. I cannot guarantee you that you won’t get burnt because you will. Don’t worry and don’t cry because those wounds will eventually heal. You will learn from your mistakes and you won’t let them happen ever again. Bear in mind that there is always hope. If you are emotionally beaten, in complete and utter darkness, snap out and remember there is always light somewhere. It’s up to you to find it. I know, I’ve been there. I see you. I hear you. You are not alone. Now, you are in a dark place of your life where anything you do or try to do, seems pointless. It may seem pointless now, but once you release yourself from that place, it won’t be like that, at all. This difficult phase you are going through can only make you grow stronger. Each time you get up and survive ‘the beatings’ all over again, you will become indestructible. I know because you’ve been through all of that before and you are standing here now. I know you are tired and fed up with everything that is happening to you. I know you don’t have the strength to carry on. But, please hang in there. This is the last thing you will have to endure. I promise you. I see what you hide in the deepest place of your soul. I hear your cries at night. You are not alone.
