You would never intentionally hurt someone you love. Now would you?
Still, you forget that goes the other way around, too. Somebody who truly loves you would never bring you so much pain that you feel like you are living in hell.
Somebody who truly loves you would never make you work so hard to keep the relationship going. They wouldn’t make you doubt yourself or make you feel less worthy.
You shouldn’t feel like you are constantly bashing a brick wall with your head because you are giving all you’ve got and hardly receiving anything back.
Love shouldn’t make you suffer. It shouldn’t drown you in tears. Love shouldn’t be that hard. It just shouldn’t—at least not with the right person.
When you are with the right person, you have your fair share of problems, that’s true. Not everything will be sunshine and rainbows all the time.
But their words are never designed to hurt you. They don’t belittle or insult you. They don’t play mind games, and they don’t act like the issues between you are not their business.
They face things right there and then with you. They don’t let you go to bed angry. They discuss the issue until all is settled and well. They can’t stand to see you upset, especially if they were the ones that made you mad.
They are not perfect, and neither are you. You will both make mistakes, and that’s normal and natural.
You won’t always be able to get one another, but what’s different is that with the right person, you will find solutions. You will forgive each other. You will understand, and you will meet each other halfway.
You will make things work because your love is more powerful than all the bumps you face down the road.
When you are with the right person, you will feel like heaven is a place on earth.
They will add to your happiness. They will always have your back. They will be there for you. They will show you that love should flow.
They will show you that you are easy to love because you are made for them, and they wouldn’t dream of changing anything about you.
Love will flow between you without any need for you to work hard. They will text and call because they’ll feel like something is missing if they don’t hear from you very long.
They will make time—even when they have none—because they are drawn to you. They want your closeness. They want your hugs, kisses and tenderness. They want to look at you when you talk and fall asleep cuddled up on the couch.
They will have this burning desire inside of themselves to make you happy, and they will do all they can without even thinking about it to put a smile on your face.
Once you are loved by the right person, you will feel inspired, and you will finally realize that you can achieve anything you set your mind and heart to.
When you are loved the right way, you become the best version of yourself, and there’s no stopping you. You will finally see that love is not constantly worrying and stressing because the other person is treating you poorly. Love isn’t about sleepless nights, unanswered texts and fear of betrayal.
Love is feeling safe in the arms of the right person. Love is being more happy than sad. Love is being able to breathe easily because there is no room for dramas and emotional chaos.
The right person will show you how blissful love can be and how easy it is to be happy when you are with them.
