Aries (March 21 – April 19)

Active Aries loves winter because it allows them to pursue activities that they can’t take part in every time of the year. If you live in a place that snows, you’re eager to get outside and carve up the slope on a snowboard or skis—or maybe go ice skating, if that’s more your style. Even if it never gets that cold where you live, the freezing temperatures mean that when you break a sweat running around outdoors, chances are small that you’ll ever be driven inside by feeling too hot. You can’t get enough of a winter wonderland.  

Taurus (April 20 – May 20)

For Taurus, winter means the time to splurge. When you buy presents for the people you care about, you go all out to make sure that you only purchase the best of the best. But splurging on others also gives you an excuse to splurge on yourself a little bit, and the cold weather means you have every right to buy yourself that cute winter coat you’ve been eyeing. You consider it a win-win for everyone involved, even if your bank account doesn’t agree with you.

The winter holiday can be slightly bittersweet for Gemini, who cherish the time off and the chance to be surrounded by family, but don’t love being separated from their school friends during that time. To get the most out of winter, surround yourself with your favorite family members during the holidays. Then, make sure to plan a winter break hangout with your friends so you don’t go to stir crazy before it’s time to head back to school next year.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22)

Cancer sees the entire season of winter as a time to indulge in some self-care. The cold weather means you have the perfect justification for staying inside and preventing anyone else’s negative emotions from ruining your good vibes. Take the time to cozy up by the fire (or your space heater) and sip your favorite hot drinks while you do whatever you need to do to recharge. Winter meditation is a must.

Leo (July 23 – Aug. 22)

Leo loves lifting the spirits of others just as much as they crave attention, and the winter season is the ideal time to do that. You get a big energy boost from being around other people, so any holiday gatherings will be a big time to shine for you. Chances are you’ll be basking in love and affection all season. Winter is the season of peace and prosperity, so Libra is very into it. Though things may be a little hectic in preparation for the holidays, you believe there’s no greater joy than when the entire family gets together to share in each others’company. Strong-willed Scorpio delights in being a bit of a Scrooge during the holidays, even if they secretly love the spirit of the season. You tend to act a little grumpy around this time, and love to make everyone around you try to convince you that you’re wrong. While the chill of winter might change the way most signs behave, it does nothing to stop Sagittarius in their tracks.
