Why Strong People Attract Difficult Relationships
Why do strong people attract difficult relationships? And it’s true. Ever wondered? I’ve seen spiritually open, amazingly strong people get into abusive, stressful relationships, and I’ve often wondered why.
I had never been in an abusive relationship, was great at being on my own, and had worked hard on myself, but it seemed like entering into a relationship that actually mattered suddenly turned my life upside down.
Why Strong People Attract Difficult Relationships Relationships often tell us the most about ourselves, especially when we are strong characters.
If you are struggling in your relationships, if you are wondering why you seem to have everything else going smoothly in your life except romance, it may be a sign that you are a strong soul who is here to experience deep, transformative actions through “others.”
This is why strong people often struggle with difficult relationships and how to overcome them.
Understand that relationships are part of something bigger
Strong people often enter into relationships that also serve a higher purpose that may not even manifest in this life.
Healing Relationships
Many strong people are also healers and will therefore attract partners who need a lot of healing and attention.
Strong people are also usually equipped to handle the pain and emotions of people who need healing, emotional support, and comfort, so the universe will bring them together. However, healing is never one-sided. If you do a lot of healing work in your relationship, it is likely that both parties will experience benefits.
The only thing to remember is not to get caught up in a one-sided relationship. If you feel drained from all the “healing” work, it may be a sign that you need to change your way of thinking and living, too.
Karmic relationships
Often, difficult relationships are full of karma from past lives.
Karmic relationships are often intense and difficult, especially in the beginning. There may also be strong, inexplicable attractions to each other, or even strong aversions from time to time.
Healing old karmic wounds in relationships is difficult work, but it can also be a huge potential for growth and revolution.
Strong people often attract a lot of this into their lives because they are strong enough to handle it and have been given the tools they need to work through this karmic energy.
Doing karmic work in a relationship does not mean you have to tolerate abuse or other bad behavior.
What Strong People Can Do in Difficult Relationships
1. Allow yourself to be weak. Often strong people go through life always needing to support others, but difficult relationships can help encourage the opposite. Allow yourself to not always be strong.
2. Learn to soften yourself and break down any barriers you have created around receiving love. Often strong people are very good at giving, but they are not so good at receiving.
3. Understand that all relationships are just experiences that are here to help you grow and develop into your highest potential. Embrace the challenges and remember that it is all part of the journey.
4. Focus on self-love. When you truly love yourself, it will help you move forward in your relationship.
5. Remember that difficult relationships can sometimes be the most rewarding. When you can move through problems and into a clearer space, it can create strong relationships that last a lifetime.
