9 Things He Starts Doing Before A Breakup
Why do hearts break? Sometimes, you can become so enamored with a person that you fail to notice their gradual departure from you. But there are signs. Of course, all this can happen if he is having difficult times at work, in the family, or depressed, but it is still better to take a closer look at him and ask what is going on before it is too late.
1. He stops making plans with you.
If you used to always go on vacation somewhere together, now he’s looking for excuses to do it separately. Maybe he’s just putting off the breakup conversation.
2. He starts texting other women.
Usually you feel it: a suspicious colleague or old friend shows up. It doesn’t mean he’s cheating on you, but it’s like he’s preparing an escape plan. It sounds awful, but it’s a defense mechanism.
3. He starts long conversations about your relationship.
Maybe he says you spend too much time with your friends or at work. Things that weren’t a problem before are now starting to bother him. But he may be trying to blame you for the breakup.
4. He stops sharing personal information with you.
You might even learn about his promotion at work from mutual friends, because he is no longer in a hurry to share important events with you.
5. Everything you do suddenly starts to irritate him.
If he hasn’t always been like this, then he’s probably thinking about breaking up. It’s a confusing time; he doesn’t know where to start and tends to criticize everything.
6. He is not pleased with you.
He does not appear to be amused by your jokes; it is evident that he is not even attempting to have a good time. He might even ignore you and be on his phone. He’s probably already made an important decision for himself but hasn’t told you about it yet.
7. He starts fighting out of nothing. He wants to convince you that your relationship no longer makes sense.
8. You stopped having s+x.
If you are no longer appealing to him personally, maybe he is interested in someone else. Or he is so negative that he even wants to distance himself from you physically.
9. He asks for more personal space.
Maybe he really needs more time alone. Or he wants to test himself to see what it’s like without you. Or maybe he’s hinting at a breakup, calling it simply “Let’s take a break.”
