You Can Forgive Him But Don’t Let Him Back Into Your Life

Sometimes, it takes getting hurt and having your heart shattered into a million pieces to realize some tough truths in both love and life.

It’s not always easy seeing things for what they are as you’re going through them.

Love has a way of affecting people and making them turn a blind eye to things that are right in front of them.

You’re not alone if love has sometimes made you feel like a total fool and completely lowered your standards.

You are not alone in making excuses for guys who did not deserve it the least bit.

We all think we’d never do it, but then life happens and catches you off guard…

But what’s important here is to realize that you’re only human. You’ve made mistakes, you’ve had errors in judgment, and it’s likely you’ll do it again.

But guess what else? So will I, and so will a million other women out there.

Remind yourself from time to time that nobody is perfect, and nobody expects you to be either!

You try your best and sometimes, it just isn’t enough. You’ll pick the wrong guy and he will turn your life upside down before you’ve even realized what happened.

He will be a jerk, he will treat you like shit, and he might even cheat.

He won’t see your value and he’ll take advantage of your big heart and kind, forgiving soul.

He will make you cry in your bed alone, just to put your best face on in the morning,

And that’s on him. Remember that. His shitty actions say nothing about you and everything about him!

The way he treats you is crappy on his part, but you can choose how you react to it.

Being able to forgive someone for treating you like shit when they’re not even sorry takes a big person.

Only a huge heart can forgive someone who doesn’t regret their actions and shows no remorse.

Sometimes, forgiveness is really all about you. It’s not about letting him back into your life, but rather for your healing process and ability to move forward.

You need to forgive him for everything he’s done wrong in order to be able to truly let him go and move in a more positive direction.

A direction that doesn’t involve him.

Just because you’re finally ready to feel okay again does not mean you’re ready to go back to him. It’s actually the opposite.

Once you’ve been able to truly forgive him, you’ll feel like the weight of the world has been lifted off your shoulders.

Your soul will feel free again and you will no longer be burdened by the constant anger and regret.

You will no longer be driven by your desire to get even, but rather move forward with a clean slate.

And that’s what forgiveness is all about. It doesn’t make you weak and it doesn’t mean you’re a pushover.

It means you’ve finally reached a point where your inner peace has transcended any need for vengeance and bitterness.

And once you’ve achieved this, life will feel meaningful again.

You will finally see the light at the end of the tunnel and your zest for life will be restored.

But don’t make the mistake of having this newfound sense of peace let you invite him back into your life!

Close that door, and never open it again. Just because you’ve forgiven him doesn’t mean you forgot about all the crap he put you through.

Sure, now you can live freely without this weighing you down, but you also never want to let it affect you so deeply again. Once was more than enough.

So leave this mistake behind. He belongs in the past. You’ve learned your lesson, you’ve healed, and you’ve grown from this.

And the only way now is up. Nothing is holding you down anymore, so no more looking back.

Never let him trap you again. Your big heart can only handle so much heartbreak.

When your life has taken a turn for the better, focus on maintaining it that way.

It’s not going to be easy and it’s going to require a lot of willpower and strength on your part.

Every time you’re tempted to call or text him, remind yourself of what he did to you.

You are the only one who knows how he made you feel and how it affected you.

Don’t let anyone else tell you how to feel or what you should do. That’s entirely on you.

Once you get this far, don’t let this newfound freedom slip away. Leave the past where it belongs and focus on creating a promising future for yourself.

Now you know what you’re capable of – that should be motivation enough to keep going and not lose faith in love.

One bad guy doesn’t mean there’s more to come. For all you know, there could be the perfect man waiting for you just around the corner.

If you don’t give it a shot, you’ll never know. So close all doors you know you never want to open again and let your future keep you positive and hopeful.

Forgive, but never forget. Heal, but never let yourself be shattered again.

You’ve learned your lesson the hard way, so let it keep you away from the one causing it in the first place.

You’re on a new path, and it has no room for old mistakes and broken promises.

You’re a new woman and you deserve your happy ending. So keep moving forward and don’t settle for anything less!
