Scientists at the University of North Carolina have investigated this question and found out which indicator is essential for a happy relationship.

Scientists at the University of North Carolina investigated exactly these questions in a recent study and researched the most important characteristic of a happy relationship.
Happy couples laughing together
In the study, social psychologist Laura Kurtz and her research team examined a total of 77 couples who had been together for an average of four years. First, they were asked to retell the story of how they met, while the couples were filmed with a video camera.
The scientists then counted the number and length of shared laughter. The participants also filled out a questionnaire that recorded how satisfied the couple was with their relationship. The result: couples who laugh together more often are happier in their relationship. It was also found that women laughed noticeably more often, while men’s laughter was more contagious.
